At this Gen AI for Startup founders event held in London in Feb 2025, I ran an exercise of putting invoice data into ChatGPT to clean and obtain insights into the data in order to drive business strategy.

The results were incredible! Whilst it sometimes struggled with some of the things a human expert analyst would find “easy” (such as simple Excel formulas), it managed to produce detailed analysis on revenue volatility and strategies for smoothing this with customers.
